Milestones
Back in august I went bike shopping. Local bike shoppers saw an old guy and really kind of blew me off. Which is interesting considering they had almost no bikes in stock. They needed every shopper and shoppers were few and far between. The Trek shop in Savannah was the only one that had anything and wanted to talk.
One shop worth mentioning in Richmond Hill . I talked to the kid who was working, told him I was going to start riding and I wanted a bike that would last longer than the Walmart specials. His manager came over and asked the kid what I was looking for and he says he’s just an old guy who’s going to ride around his neighborhood once in a while. I walked out of that shop as soon as he said that. Never going back there again. Not never not no how not for nothing.
So I started a riding in late august. Today I hit mile 1000 since then. That may not be pro cycling mileage, but for an old guy, I think it ain’t too shabby.
